Description:
Intensive study of the law enforcement systems at the Federal, State, and local levels. Special emphasis will be on police organization and management, police functions, job stress, liability, and sociological and psychological implications. Principles and methods of investigations will also be examined including collection and preservation of evidence, impartial gathering of evidence, interrogation techniques, and the handling of informants. Either CJST 135 or 145 can be applied to the degree. Restricted to Criminal Justice students. Prereq. - CJST 101.
