The application of the design fundamentals and trade information to problems of contract interior design. Emphasis on space analysis and planning, coordination of furnishings and equipment, design function, and aesthetics of interior space in relation to individual and group needs. Incorporation of the computer as a design tool. Design projects, the procedure and development of a design project from start to completion. Preparation of written research and design position papers on assigned design problems and their solutions.
