Structured work experience in selected hotels, resorts, or restaurants; minimum of 135 contact hours. For Restaurant Option: Prereq. - FOOD 110, 113, 120, 123, 128, 201, and HOSP 210; a C or better in Hotel and Restaurant courses completed; participation in a minimum of five on-campus catered events; approval of the instructor; pre- or coreq. - FOOD 250, HOSP 215. For Hotel Option: Prereq. - HOSP 101, 210, FOOD 110, 123, 128, 201, and HOTL 110; a C or better in Hotel and Restaurant courses completed; participation in a minimum of five on-campus catered events; approval of the instructor; pre- or coreq. - FOOD 250, HOTL 207, HOSP 215.
