Description:
This course develops the skills of health assessment and clinical examination techniques using a critical thinking and reasoning approach. It emphasizes an understanding of range of normal and abnormal findings in both the healthy client and the client experiencing a health alteration. The student actively utilizes the theoretical constructs of assessment to complete course activities. A systematic method of obtaining and documenting findings is learned through case studies and hands-on practice.
