This course introduces students to the technology used in modern e-commerce systems of the Internet. It includes discussions of e-commerce hosting, the Internet communications technology used in e-commerce, the use of eXtensible Markup Language (XML) in e-commerce systems, e-commerce transaction processing, e-commerce security, and a hands-on e-commerce storefront and catalog development project.
