Description:
This course is a continuation and exploration of the applied art of graphic design, through the visual conceptual problem solving process for the purpose of communication. Studio projects emphasize the development of visual ideas and include the continued study of letter forms (typography) design techniques and graphic design principles. The use of the computer and software programs for developing and gen- erating visual solutions to assignments is emphasized. This technology is tempered with traditional (hands-on) studio experience for the initial stages of developing and conceptualizing design ideas. Studio and computer classrooms are integral to this advanced course.
