The topics covered include the individual and corporate tax structure as they relate to the financial environment, the stock and bond markets, and overview of financial institutions, interest rates and the cost of funds, interpreting financial statements and determining future financial needs, the relationship between risk and returns, the time value of money, the capital budgeting process, and bond preferred stock and common stock valuation. 3-0-3
