2 credits/3 activity hours This is a course in which the student evaluates his/her own physical status, and with the help of the instructor, designs a physical conditioning program to meet personal goals and interest. Areas of concentration are cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, body composition, muscular strength and muscular endurance. Activities generally selected involve aerobic, resistive, and flexibility exercises. This course emphasizes proper techniques, purpose of each exercise, safety, and how to get expected results from and individualized physical conditioning program.
