This is the study of women and women-identifying writers that includes their contributions in the form of essays, creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, autobiographies, memoir, plays and other examples of written craft. Students also study important historical, political and philosophical forces as related to women and women-identifying authors and citizens and their ongoing efforts to have their voices heard.
