Description:
Theory and practical application are combined to advance the student's technical skills in vascular imaging. Students explore valuable information on normal and pathological states of the peripheral vascular, cerebrovascular and abdominal vascular systems. Technical information such as spectral analysis in Doppler, hemodynamics of the circulatory system as well as scanning techniques and protocols are covered. During laboratory, students utilize classroom theory in examining various vascular systems. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate.
