3 credits/3 class hours Corequisite: THE117 or Permission of Instructor This is an introductory course for the student inexperienced in acting. The primary goals are to survey and understand what tools an actor must use in performance. Practice is provided in the technical skills: movement, sensory perceptions, motivation, voice, and diction. Practical application occurs through presentation of monologues in classroom.
