(Writing Intensive Course, Information Literacy Intensive Course). An investigation of rhetorical argumentation in the academic disciplines and the professional world. Students will write analytical responses to social, cultural, and political readings and will write papers supporting arguments in their own disciplines using MLA or APA style. The final project and paper will be an investigation of the writing culture in their own majors using primary and secondary sources.
