3 credits (2 lecture, 2 lab) In observing the developmental patterns and behavior of childhood from preschool to grade four, observations will include recording information about the teacher, the classroom environment, materials and curriculum. Two letters of recommendation, a health assessment and the Mantoux T. B. test are required to do observations in daycare centers and in some preschools. Elementary schools may require Act 33 and 34 clearances.
