This course is designed to satisfy the transfer requirements for Physical Education major students. The course teaches fundamental skills, National Federation of State High School Associations current field hockey and soccer rules, history, selection and care of equipment, and strategy needed to play, teach, officiate, and coach field hockey and soccer. The lifetime health benefits derived from physical activity, along with proper nutritional concepts are explained in detail.
