Description:
The course will provide a survey of the historical and educational bases for the development of programs for learning disabled children and youth. Students will be introduced to definitions, etiologies, and theoretical approaches to learning disabilities, as well as specific types of learning disabilities, classroom diagnostic procedures, and remediation techniques. Prerequisites: SPU 100 or permission of instructor.
