Introductory course for chemistry majors. This course is the second half of a two-semester sequence designed to give students the foundation of knowledge and laboratory tech- niques required to successfully complete a chemistry degree program. Topics include kinetic-molecular theory of gases, the liquid and solid states, solution theory, kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and electro- chemistry.
