Description:
Addresses the full construction process. This course discusses all phases - from project conception to its completion - of a construction project including the roles that the owner, architect, construction manager, general contractor, and subcontractor has throughout the project. Students are taught the procedures for effective project cost control and the systematic methods of handling changes, claims, and disputes for both general and subcontractors. Construction accounting is also covered. Prerequisite: GTEC 110 with a grade of C or higher. Corequisite: ARCH 130; Or, permission of the Instructor.
