The basics of creating original digital images and manipulating them using the graphics industry's standard software package. Students are introduced to painting and editing tools and the techniques required for retouching and enhancing photographs or original art. Importing to and exporting from other graphics software are covered. Students work primarily through hands-on projects. A laboratory fee is required.
