Surveys the diverse body of Native American literature from oral traditions to contemporary forms in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama. Readings explore themes such identity, cultural experience, and sovereignty in the indigenous Native American experience. Prerequisite: Eligibility for enrollment into ENGL 101 and completion of any reading courses required by the College Testing and Placement Program.
