This course continues to apply the knowledge of Commercial Wiring I and requires application of the skills learned in previous courses. It stresses the application of high voltage components to the system and calculations necessary to have a safe and efficient commercial wiring installation. Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to: Develop a basic loading schedule for the commercial wiring installation. Select and properly install the proper panel board. Demonstrate knowledge of the commercial wiring system including various types of transformers, disconnecting devices, service entrances and metering configurations. Cite the requirements for an emergency power system. Perform necessary short-circuit calculations. Coordinate over current devices. Describe how a cooling system operates. Apply appropriate terminology. Prerequisite: Commercial Wiring I (ELT 102) 3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory each week 4 credits
