This course is an introduction to mathematical reasoning analysis required to perform in business and financial operations. Students will apply mathematical computations in the following areas: percentage rates, discounts, markups, markdowns, profit or loss, valuation of inventory, payroll, taxes, simple and compound interest, time value of money, annuities, amortization, sinking funds, yield rates of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance.
