This course will explore topics about the relationship between physical activity and psychology. Specifically, this includes understanding how and why physical activity improves mental health and cognitive functioning, explaining various psychosocial factors that affect activity levels, using behavior change theories to improve rates of physical activity participation, and identifying issues unique for various diverse populations.
