Description:

The second in a two-semester sequence in research design and statistics as applied to the behavioral sciences. Designed to provide a collection of principles, methods and strategies useful in planning, designing, writing, and evaluating research studies in the behavioral sciences. Topics include research designs, measurements, hypothesis testing, statistical significance, estimation and the analysis of data. Use of computer statistical packages to analyze data emphasized. If prerequisite courses are not met instructor approval is required.
