Description:
The student will continue to explore Fiber Art with an increased level of production, critique, history and aesthetics This course will provide students with opportunities to explore both traditional and non-traditional flexible materials, techniques and concepts within contemporary Fiber Art. Through two- and three-dimensional projects, students will continue to develop their skills, artistic perception and conceptual thinking. Through creative studio practice, students should develop the following emphasized artistic traits: ability to resist premature closure; sensitivity to problems; ability to synthesize.
