Description:
This course will cover basic electricity/electronics theory and practical applica­tions. Wiring from the main panel box to and including the boiler control wiring, and the electro/mechanical theory of the control circuit. Individual controls will be demonstrated showing their physical/mechanical and electric/electronic proper­ties and capabilities. Theory concerning the safety and comfort design of the con­trol system, and applications to various fuel use. Practical demonstrations on con­trolling steam and hot water heating systems, and designing of systems to achieve specific results for heating.
