Emphasis on learning and presenting findings from applied statistical techniques including frequency tables and graphs, contingency tables, measures of central tendency and dispersion, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, analysis of variance, correlation, linear regression (bivariate and multiple). SPSS software package used. Prereq: C- or better in Math 130 and 9 s.h. in sociology/anthropology.
