Description:
This course covers topics in kinematics, work-energy equations, and impulse-momentum theory as they apply to rigid bodies with emphasis on engineering situations. Students will also be introduced to vibration theory. This course uses integral and differential calculus as well as a vector approach to analyzing and solving engineering problems. Prerequisites: MAT 201 and PHY 151 prior to this course. It is strongly recommended that EGR 203 be taken as a prerequisite.
